Apparently, I am not the only one who thinks that Up could be Pixar's first bomb. The NYTimes.com is reporting that some Wall Street "experts" and toy retailers are expecting less than stellar performance of the film. The folks at Cannes don't seem to mind.

but i dunno, considering the state of wall street right now, maybe their concern is a sign that "up" won't do so bad. before they came out i would have predicted that both "toy story two" and "cars" would bomb. i was wrong both times.; April 9, 2009 at 2:13 PM
